The celebration includes traditional Jamaican music, food, and cultural performances, as well as speeches highlighting the contributions of Jamaican-Americans to the NYPD and the City of New York.

This event serves as a way to bring law enforcement and community together in celebration but also as an opportunity to promote diversity and inclusion within the NYPD.
